If you're anything like me, you'll be fascinated by the way celebrities seem to do everything. Yes, they have staffs and assistants and stuff, but they seem to magically *blow* and all their to-do lists are done, giving them time to just...exist. When I spoke to actress Alycia Denbnam-Carey, I couldn't help but envy her.Australian coolness- the relaxed way of life. like the face ofphilosophyWith the incredible Grace scent, it's no surprise that she manages to do all of this with, you guessed it, incredible grace. We here at GRAZIA asked her to describe in detail everything she does from dawn to dusk so you can get jealous of her too.
What time do you wake up on a normal day and what is the first thing you do?
Every day is very different for me, so my waking hours vary depending on what I'm doing that day, especially when I'm at work. However, I'm not a morning person, so if I have the opportunity to sleep in, I sleep in. I try to get out of bed before 9, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it's more likely 10:30. The first thing I do is check my phone regretfully, brush my teeth and then go make coffee.
Can you explain your morning skin care routine to us?

I even take it to the installation so I can reboot it during a long day at work. How do you apply your fragrance?
I am someone who consistently applies fragrance throughout the day. My goal is always to smell good. But one trick I love is spraying my fragrance on clothes that have just come out of the dryer. So when I sprinkle the Amazing Grace philosophy on my sheets, everything smells so clean and fresh.
How long does it usually take you to get dressed in the morning? Join the process.
Is it a 2 minute routine or a 2 hour routine? I realized that I am a girl of extremes. I wear vintage Levi's, sneakers and a white tank top, or I try to find a complete look to match the weather. I like a feminine dress and a slipper. But in the end it's about what makes me feel good, confident and comfortable.
What is your favorite wardrobe at the moment?

Other morning rituals that are important to you?
Since my life is very different from day to day, it's important that I stick to some consistent routines in the morning. I try to work out or stretch when I can most mornings. And light a candle while I shower and get ready - I know it sounds so simple, but there's something about it that makes me feel more connected and aware of my morning routine.
Is there a "normal" day in your life? If yes, what do you do? If not, can you tell us what you are currently working on?
I don't really have a typical day, which is something I love, but most of the time it involves work, answering emails in the morning, exercising, and then I'm setting rules or learning for an audition or putting something on tape . I started working on some of my own projects, but right now I'm shadowing our director on set. Learning from the directors during prep and shooting with the intention of directing an episode yourself is a process. It's super challenging and exciting and something I've been interested in for a while.
Where are you now? What is one of your favorite things to do or nearby places?
I live in Los Angeles but I'm not there very often so when I go there my favorite thing to do is just have dinner with friends. But some of my favorite things to do are going to the Melrose Place Farmers Market on a Sunday morning for fresh flowers and produce, or hitting the beach. It always makes me feel closer to home.

What time do you usually sleep? Are there any products to help you get your zzz's?
I'm a night owl so I tend to sleep in late, but I'm trying to change that habit. I like mint tea at night or melatonin to help me sleep. When I have time, I also love to shower.
